Hair Care
General Maintenance
For optimal results, be sure to wash your extensions every 2 weeks. When detangling, always comb from the ends first and work your way up to the roots. This will decrease shedding. ALL HAIR SHEDS but with proper techniques, you can minimize how quickly this happens.
Washing
None of our extensions require a cowash but feel free to do so at your own discretion. Be sure to use both a shampoo and conditioner free of sulfates and parabens for best results. Thoroughly wash products out and condition hair routinely to ensure the longevity of the hair. Shampoo hair with warm or hot water and rinse out conditioner with cool water to retain moisture. Please see recommended products below.
Styling
We do not recommend that any holding sprays, heat protectants, mousses, styling gels, etc. be used, but, if necessary, to preserve the lifespan of the hair, treat the hair as if it were your own.
Nightly Maintenance
For nightly maintenance we recommend wrapping your hair up using silk materials only. This includes bonnets, scarves, pillowcases, etc. For styled curls, consider using flexi rods or pin curl the hair to preserve them. To maintain curly patterns, section the hair while wet, add a curl cream or 30:70 mixture of water and conditioner of your choice and either braid or two-strand twist the hair before placing the bonnet. If you plan on straightening your curly extensions, please be sure to wash out any product before applying heat.
